In a groundbreaking move, Dubai Holding has announced that Select Group will become the first private developer to take on major projects at Palm Jebel Ali—a significant milestone in Dubai's real estate evolution.
Until now, Nakheel, the master developer, has led all development efforts on the second Palm. This strategic collaboration with Select Group reflects Dubai Holding’s commitment to "unlocking long-term value across its world-class master developments."

A New Chapter in Luxury Waterfront Living
The Select Group will spearhead the creation of two large-scale developments on Palm Jebel Ali, introducing upscale residential and hospitality offerings that promise to redefine luxury waterfront living. This move not only diversifies development on the island but also aligns with Dubai’s vision of creating iconic destinations that offer unmatched lifestyle experiences.
In addition, Select Group will also develop a vibrant mixed-use community in Dubai Design District (d3), further expanding its footprint in Dubai's premium real estate market.
Palm Jebel Ali: Dubai's Next Super-Luxury Hotspot
Spanning over 13.4 kilometers with 16 fronds and 90 kilometers of pristine beachfront, Palm Jebel Ali is shaping up to be a super-luxury destination. Dubai Holding refers to it as the "beginning of a new growth corridor in the Jebel Ali area."
Designed to feature mixed-use, pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods, the island promises panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf, adding yet another gem to Dubai’s stunning coastline.
“Palm Jebel Ali is an iconic development poised to elevate Dubai’s global reputation as a premier waterfront destination,” said Khalid Al Malik, CEO of Dubai Holding Real Estate. “By joining forces with Select Group, we are delivering on the leadership’s vision of creating a world-class coastal destination that sets new standards in luxury residential and hospitality experiences.”
